Execution

In preparing for battle I have always found that plans are useless, but planning is indispensable. -Dwight D. Eisenhower

Planning- No large project gets completed successfully without some sort of planning.  Much of the heavy lifting on an aggressive roll-out is done at the beginning of the project. MTG believes it is imperative to have a thorough understanding of our clients’ expectations, business goals and project scope. Having this complete understanding allows us to effectively communicate project priorities to the field personnel and a measurable plan of execution can be developed.

MTG will create a Scope of Work document complete with photos, diagrams and clear concise directions ensuring there is no ambiguity in the work that needs to be done.  All installation documents will require strict adherence to applicable codes, best trade practices, safety, and standards of workmanship, professionalism and appearance.

To ensure a smooth roll-out MTG will typically perform two or three pilot installations so that the project process can be fine tuned. We will take photos of each step and often we will also shoot some video to illustrate the scope of work and quality expectations for the installers. Lastly MTG will assemble a Plan of Execution to ensure adequate resources are in place to control deliver, quality and meet schedule requirements.

Once the installation documents are ready and the Plan of Execution is complete, the roll-out process becomes very scalable. One of MTG’s Project Coordinators will then take primary responsibility and manage communications and scheduling with the appropriate customer contact(s). Project Coordinators will also stay in regular communication with our installers, monitoring their check in & check out activity, manage document uploads, provide status updates and handle all problem resolution when needed.

24/7 Support for our clients and project teams. MTG provides a 24/7 help desk staffed with experienced and technically skilled staff, all of whom will be familiar with the scope of each active project. Many of our jobs must be completed during the evening to avoid disruption to our clients business.  Providing 24/7 support ensures that no matter what time an installer needs assistance, MTG will be there to help.

Logistics Capabilities- MTG knows the success of an aggressive roll-out is largely dependent on timely delivery and staging of necessary equipment and materials. We have found that since our company is controlling the schedule, it is most effective if we also manage the material delivery.  MTG maintains an 8,000 square feet warehouse for receiving, storing, organizing, packaging and shipping as needed to ensure timely deliver and project success. When it comes time to ship materials to each city where work is being completed, we most commonly ship to our local partners’ facility and not the job site.

Quality Control- MTG’s success and growth has been largely due to our expectations of quality. We demand quality from our employees as well as our national partners. Our Scope of Work documents clearly state and illustrate expectations of quality workmanship as well as professionalism, appearance and any special policies or requests our clients may have. We require that all work is performed with adherence to all applicable local codes and trade best practices. In addition we require photographs of completed work and a store manager sign-off that addresses quality of workmanship, clean-up and overall satisfaction as part of the documentation summary package for each site.

Commitment to Technology- MTG knows that aggressive national roll-out execution effectiveness is not possible without the best technology tools. MTG utilizes Basecamp to centralize all pertinent project documentation to provide online real time project status details, communications and document management. We also use Tigerpaw software solutions for service ticket tracking, project management, dispatching, scheduling, subcontractor management, invoicing and accounting. All of our Service Coordinators utilize Tigerpaw for tracking installations and service work.

A robust network infrastructure is vital to maintaining mission critical technology systems when performing time sensitive projects and services. MTG maintains a full time IT staff and has invested heavily in the quality and redundancy of our IT systems to support our operations with minimal risk of any down time.
